TTT and LTT
Trainer Talking Time is often greatest in the presentation stage. It should decrease as the stages progress from presentation through practice to production.
Learner Talking Time should progressively increase as learners acquire the target language.
Overall, trainers try to keep TTT to a minimum to give the learners more time to practice speaking during the lesson.
